ArchDezine

ArchDezine can advise you of your “Permitted Development Rights” and whether you may be able to build without the need for Planning Permission and if only a Lawful Development Certificate(LDC) will suffice for your requirements.

“Planning control is the process of managing the development of land and buildings. The purpose of this process is to save what is best of our heritage and improve the infrastructure upon which we depend for a civilised existence.” – Planningportal.gov.uk (2012)

It’s your Local Authority’s planning department (often called your Local Planning Authority – LPA) that’s responsible for deciding whether your proposed development can go ahead. ArchDezine are ideally placed to liaise with your LPA on your behalf during the design process to ensure we get your design approved first time wherever possible.

The planning application process can be time-consuming with extensive criteria to adhere to. Our Planning Consultants are hugely experienced in this area and can take this load off your shoulders ensuring the Council get what they need to be able to approve your design so you can get on and start building.

You may however be able to build without Planning Permission. The Government has relaxed planning control and devised a system known as Permitted Development.
